This is not going to be a political post. This is just me, complaining about my cancelled vacation. I know, I know. There are bigger problems out there in the world right now, but those problems are too big for me to think about. Instead, I’m going to share with you what we had PLANNED on doing during our Spring Break vacation and what our plans are going forward. It’s up to you to read it. Of course you don’t have to, so please don’t make rude comments!
If you are a Disney fan you’ve already heard of Disney Plus. If you aren’t a Disney fan you’ve probably also heard of Disney+. This post isn’t going to be like all the others. This post is about why my inner child is excited about all of the Disney Plus shows and movies that I will be able to stream starting November 12th!
There are so many Disney Plus shows and movies to choose from!
There is a TON of content that’s going to be available on Disney Plus starting November 12th. I’m excited for pretty much all of it, but there are some older shows and movies that are really tugging at my heart strings. Such wonderful memories are flooding back! However, I’m also really excited about some of the new content as well. There are going to be SO many amazing shows, movies, documentaries, & more! I tried narrowing down what I’m MOST excited for into two lists (older vs. new).
Last Christmas season (December 2018) we went to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) and we had a great time! We had never been to a special ticketed Disney event before and we really weren’t sure what to expect. We would definitely go back to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party again! Keep reading for reasons on why we think you should go to MVMCP.
I know what you’re thinking. You are thinking that going on a Disney World vacation in itself is a splurge. And most of the times you are right. Usually when MY family goes to Disney we try to go as cheap as possible (yes, it’s possible). However, the last two times we went we decided to splurge on a Disney Deluxe Resort. They were short stays (which is what made it possible), but I think totally worth it! Keep reading to think why I think YOU should splurge on a Disney Deluxe Resort at least once!
It’s no surprise that it gets HOT at Disney. Being out in that Florida heat is enough to make anyone cranky after a while. That’s why you need to cool down (and chill out) every so often. We have our top 5 favorite places to stay cool at Magic Kingdom! Maybe if this post is a success I’ll have to write one for each park…
Disney’s Contemporary Resort was never on my radar for Disney Resorts that I wanted to stay at. Honestly, it was probably at the bottom. However, we got a great Travel Agent rate this past summer so we decided to go for it! Find out what the Lau’s thought of Disney’s Contemporary Resort Bay Lake Tower and why we found it hard to stop comparing it to the last Deluxe we stayed at!
Here at Lau Family Travels we like to think that we are Disney experts. I mean… we have been to Disney a lot and we are a little obsessed. Are there people MORE qualified to call themselves WDW experts? Sure! However, we do have some REALLY great content that we used to create the Lau Family Travels’ Walt Disney World Travel Guide!
Have you been trying to decide between going on a Walt Disney World vacation or taking a Disney Cruise? It’s a hard decision and one that we contemplate often! I’d like to give you some things to consider to help you (possibly) make your decision between Disney World or Disney Cruise!
Getting around the parks, resorts, & activities at Disney World can be a nightmare for some people. There are SO many options when it comes to Disney World transportation! You can take your own car, buses, ferry boats, water taxis, and monorails! However, there are multiple routes and types of each transportation options for each. Hopefully this guide will help clear it up a little bit!
This past December I was able to check off staying at one of my Disney dream resorts! We fell in love with the Beach Club years ago when we first went there for a dining reservation at Cape May Cafe and we’ve gone back (almost) every trip since. I was lucky enough to use my travel agent discount to get a great rate on a room and the rest is history! Check out what I thought about finally staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort!
