We went to Disney World for the first time in May 2012 and I instantly fell in love.  Everything about Disney was SO magical and I compared EVERY OTHER theme park to it.  I didn’t WANT to ever go to Universal.  There’s no way it could compare to my love for Disney.  I was wrong.  This post is about how I cheated on Disney with Universal…  Disney VS Universal!

Cabana Bay Beach Resort – Volcano View Room!

Have you heard that Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort has volcano view rooms?  That’s right!  You can book a hotel room in one of their two towers that overlooks Volcano Bay and it was MESMERIZING!  My son says that this was his favorite hotel stay of all time!

Our Day @ Volcano Bay!

Loews Sapphire Falls – Our Favorite Universal Orlando Resort

Sapphire Falls is absolutely stunning. The pictures don’t even do it justice. When we arrived at Sapphire Falls I thought there is no way we could afford this place, but it’s actually only a step up from Cabana Bay (Universal’s value resort).  Find out why I consider this my favorite Universal Orlando Resort (so far)…  but also why we probably wouldn’t stay there again.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter… Is It Really Magical?

I had BIG expectations for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal. Everything I’ve read and heard about it made it seem like you FELT the magic when you walked into it. My sister has always been the BIGGEST Harry Potter fan I know. I bought her the first book for Christmas the year it came out and ever since then she was the biggest fan. So right off the bat I felt a little guilty going here without her, but I was determined to give her a review (and I Marco Polo’d her during my trip too)!
