Disney Springs (or Downtown Disney as my husband will always lovingly call it) is THE PLACE for shopping and food at Disney World! There are SO many options to choose from here. The best part about Disney Springs is that it’s free to park and free to enter. The amount of money you spend once you get there is completely up to you! Be aware that you might end up broke if you don’t have a plan!
Disney Springs is THE PLACE for dining, shopping, and entertainment!
When I say Disney Springs is “free” I mean that you aren’t charged to park or enter, however it IS a shopping district so most likely you are going there to buy SOMETHING. However, I do know people who like to just go and window shop! You aren’t REQUIRED to buy ANYTHING while you are there. But with over 109 shopping options you are going to be tempted. Just a warning!
The atmosphere is so beautiful that you could be totally satisfied with just walking around and taking in all of the sights and smells. Although, there are also a lot of DELICIOUS places to grab a bite to eat. Even if you already ate. You might be tempted with 60 restaurants, kiosks, bars, lounges, food trucks or walk up windows to order food from!

- World of Disney

Places to mention…
There is a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location at Disney Springs and very often this location has availability when the one in Magic Kingdom does not. Please remember you will need advance reservations if you want ANY chance of getting in to get turned into a Princess!
The best thing about this location is that you can get all dressed up and then head over to the Photopass Service Studio to get some professional photos taken (no advanced reservations required)!

I asked my Instagram & Twitter fans what THEIR favorite places to eat at Disney Springs were and these two were by FAR the favorites…
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ & Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza!
There is A LOT to do at Disney Springs besides eating and shopping!
When I think of Disney Springs I think of food and shopping, but there is a lot more to do there than just that. There is a lot of live entertainment around Disney Springs as well as in the bars and lounges. However, there are also other entertainment options as well.
Have dinner and a movie at the AMC Disney Springs (it’s a dine-in theater). Go bowling at Splitsville. At The BOATHOUSE you can take an Amphicar Tour! Or rise up 400 feet above Disney Springs in the world’s largest tethered helium balloon! My husband wanted to go for a ride, but my son and I chickened out. I think maybe next time we should be brave and do it!
We also had a lot of fun trading some pins at Disney’s Pin Traders. Did you know they have a secret box that comes out and you get to spin to find out which door you get to open? Inside each of the 4 doors is a different Disney pin trading board! It was a lot of fun!
There are a lot of photo opportunities around Disney Springs! It’s such a picturesque place to stop and take some photos! We didn’t really do much this day besides walk around and take photos because there was just so much to see!
