Loews Portofino Bay Orlando at Universal Orlando was one of the most GRAND hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We only stayed here one night after our Disney Cruise, but it was definitely worth it! The theme at this resort is absolutely stunning. I felt like I was in ITALY!
Loews Portofino Bay is a Premier Universal Orlando Resort.
We really didn’t get to see or experience much while we were there since we were only there for one night. There are five very unique shops, over 6 different places to eat (Starbucks included), a spa, and of course all of the regular amenities that Loews hotels offer.
The hotel is located on the bay, with water taxi transportation to the parks! We LOVE taking the water taxi, especially when the sun was setting… it was beautiful!
Watch a sunset in Italy… it felt like it anyway!
I didn’t think that Loews Portofino Bay could be more beautiful, but once the sun set and the lights turned on I was wrong! This is definitely a romantic setting for a honeymoon or just a romantic getaway, but my 8-year old son thought this resort was pretty cool for him too!
The pool area looked AMAZING, but sadly we didn’t get to enjoy it while we were there!
There are THREE themed pools at Loews Portofino Bay! We only went to see one of them while we were there. Sadly, we didn’t have time to swim or enjoy the hot tub by the cascading waterfall, but we did take some pictures to share. The pool area also had lots of games and a bar & grill!
If it’s in the budget, you can NOT go wrong with Loews Portofino Bay in Orlando. The best part about this resort is that Express Unlimited Passes are included with your stay!!
Don’t miss out on the Despicable Me Kids’ Suites if you are looking for an EXTRA special experience!
We had the amazing luck of getting upgraded for FREE to a Despicable Me Kids’ Suite while we were there! Check out my blog post here for the details!
